Alpaca Breeders
Houghton Hall Alpaca Breeders have been in operation for over a decade. We are an independent breeding farm and welcome both new and established breeders to visit our herd. Our award-winning herd of Huacayas and Suris are bred using only the best bloodlines and genetics from New Zealand, Australia and the UK
We have Stud Males, Breeding Females (Cria at foot and/or pregnant), Yearlings and Pet Boys available for purchase by Alpaca Breeders now in a variety of colours and qualities. Please visit our for sale pages for details about some of the alpacas we have available on our farm, or breeders are welcome to get in touch as we have over 750 in our herd.
Alpacas are friendly and gentle, great as fun and unusual pets keeping your lawn trim and producing an annual crop of fibre. They come in 22 recognised colours from white to black and every colour mix in between. Alpaca fleece is highly prized due to its exceptional qualities of fineness, softness and unique thermal properties, along with versatility as it can be combined with any synthetic or natural fibre.
For those new to alpacas we can offer our customers a range of services including; exporting across Europe, stud matings and one to one guidance.

At Houghton Hall Alpacas we are proven award-winning alpaca breeders as our herd has a phenomenal track record in the Show Ring, taking home an enviable number of Supreme Champion and Champion ribbons for both Suris and Huacayas each year. Visit our Show Results page for more information.
We are dedicated to improving and promoting the excellence of alpaca s across the UK and Europe and are happy to help other alpaca breeders anyway we can to achieve this.
